You should change notation of your calculator from scientific (presenting numbers as a product of some number in 1-10 range and a degree of 10) to a regular; 1.2346e16 is a rounded presentation of 12,345,678,987,654,321. The best device for calculating 111,111,111² is the MS Windows built-in calculator (it can be found in the program group "Accessories").
