Put the stem of a pale-colored flower in a strong solution of colored ink.....the flower will 'drink' the ink and change color.
A multicolored flower can be obtained by splitting the stem and putting each half into a different colored ink.
Food Coloring works faster. Set a dot at the base of the petal and it will spread though the veins. It gives it a marbleized look.
The best way is to change the chemical compostion of the soil and the environmental conditions. This will alter rates of synthesis and degradation of intermediates in pigment production.
And my way keeps you from mowing over any Rusty Nails (my grandma used to do that, stick rusty nails in her flowerbeds)
By the way, I like your sig line, Gen.
I usually spray paint them
I am thinking, why would you do this?
To give someone flowers in their favorite colour?
Cuz?
Why not?
