Hi Carole and Dutchy,

Carole, I have the same answers as Dutchy for the above clues:

31A. A type of evidence = Forensic
'conifers' is an anagram of 'forensic'

44A. To go red in the sun = Burn
'to' leaves 'BURtoN = burn

51A. Motif = Pattern
gently touch = pat
seabird = tern

27D. Large glass = Schooner
ship = schooner

56D. Remember = Reminisce
extremely 'CapablE' = CE (extremely = outer letters)
'miner is' + 'ce' is an anagram of 'reminisce'

Good luck in the competition!
Warm regards, Butterfly Very Happy
