Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
If you see an alligator,
Don't forget to scream!
(Aaaaaaaah!)
If you see a hippo there,
Feed it some ice cream!
(Mmmmmmmmmm!)
You guys do this too, eh?
We've had
If you see a Christmas tree,
Don't forget to say ouch! (ooouuuch!)
Just asked her now:
If you see a couch,
Don't forget to go bounce (bouncy bounce)
If you see some fireworks,
Don't forget to go boom (BOOM!)
If you see a dragon,
Don't forget to scream (aahhhhh!)
---
At least yours rhyme.
huh?
where do you put those vs in ?
Whole thing:
Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
and if you... [the weird ones go here, after the first two verses]
Actual whole thing, without weirdness:
Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
Merrily, merrily merrily merrily
Life is but a dream.
Here's another that we got from Gymboree:
Ha ha! I fooled you,
I'm a submarine! (Turn the kid upside down.)
We were doing this this morning. Two that Yaya came up with:
Ha, ha! I fooled you,
I'm a hippomapotamus.
If you see a hippomapotamus,
Give him a hug! (And I got a great big hug.
Apparently, I'm a hippo....)
