I haven't started the Holiday Stinker as yet, but I went on a search for you.

123A. Ancient kingdom near the Dead Sea - Moab

314A. Inner Hebrides Isle - Islay

169D. Quilt-stuffing wool - Flock

I found the answers in the Oxford Dictionary Of English, large edition. :wink:

I had done the Stinker (and can confirm Butterfly's answers), but to help you in the future I thought I'd do another search.

I have a few reference sites in my 'favourites' file, one of which is thefreedictionary.com
(it actually uses a number dictionaries, thesauruses and encyclopaedias - I find it very handy as a starting point when I want to find out about words, people, places, etc)

You already had Moab (though you'd given yourself another letter to find). Typing in Moab gave the answer of an ancient kingdom near the Dead Sea.

For the other two, I typed in the clues given, simply clicking Text instead of Word before hitting the search button. This gives you a list of words which contain the text you have submitted in their definition. Each came up with the required answer.
