Baby Panda's

I saw some picture of a gorgeous baby panda in the paper yesterday, it was pink and tiny and sweet.

But when I saw it in comparison to its mum, I couldnt believe it.The difference in size.
How unfair is that, a huge Panda giving birth to a tiny baby panda!!!Id imagine the birth canal is the same size as a humans(correct me if Im wrong)but look at the size of our babies!!

What is the biggest animal that gives birth to the smallest baby?
How come women have to go through agonising child birth with a usual 6lb+ baby out of a tiny orifice?!!!
