The National Republican Congressional Committee has snagged the wholesome, blonde and buxom Jessica Simpson to attend its fundraising gala on Thursday. House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) is the lucky guy who gets to sit next to the "Dukes of Hazzard" star.

That woman is frightening . . . i can't usually understand why this or that silicone monstrosity is considered attractive, but that one is one of the worst examples i've seen. That expression has phoney written all over it . . .

She should fit right in at the GOP "save marriage from destruction" campaign.

What could possibly be more uplifting about marriage than doing a reality show about it then getting a divorce after 4 years?
