May I suggest "PUDU" which is a small mammal, name of a movie, and enjoyed as a sweet.

I agree with Dutchy that the answer you are looking for is PUDU.

Something sweet = pud
Pud- noun. Brit. informal short for pudding

Was 'Suitable For Family Viewing' = U (Universal- suitable for all)
U- Brit universal (denoting films classified as suitable without restriction).

PUD + U = PUDU

Small mammal = Pudu
Pudu- noun. A very small and rare deer found in the lower Andes of South America
