What on earth is the answer to 6D and 80A?

I can never complete the Stinker....or the Baffler....*laughs*

Pretty straight forward:

6d = maladjusted

80a = nastiness

Tell me what you think, agree?

Stinker and Baffler are real time consumers but they can be beaten!

I thought maladjusted but it just seemed a little too obvious.

Hmmm....Nastiness?..( That seems to work perfectly with the clue)...My 80A starts with a G.......I have 'disconnecting for 44D.

What have you got for 44D?

Try "disconnection" for 44d

How obvious was that?

6D. Neurotic = Maladjusted
adapted = adjusted
'Mal'+ 'adjusted'

80A. Spite = Nastiness
awful 'stain' = nasti (letters rearranged)
Scottish lake = Ness

44D. Cutting off = Disconnection
relationship = connection
'Di's' + 'connection'

I haven't gotten that far in the stinker yet, but I think the answer may be 'Widdershins'. I'll see if I can get Dutchy to double check it for you.

I haven't tackled No. 103 yet, however for what it is worth I would look at "withershins" or "widdershins" and see if they fit.

You haven't given any letters so I'm a bit hesitant to say which one, but they both have the same meaning.

Let's know how you get on.

I just looked it up inthe dictionary and that is correct. I have never heard of it before.

I use www.dictionary.com and they say

"In a contrary or counterclockwise direction: "The coracle whirled round, clockwise, then widdershins" (Anthony Bailey). "
