Lovatts make a whole range of crossword and puzzle books that are sold in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia. They have regular competitions and the puzzles vary in the degree of difficulty.

I have only ever done the Lovatts cryptics, so I am unable to give you a comparison on the styles, but someone else may be able to answer that part of the query for you.
