hi, my homework for science was to make diagrams for the ions for the first 20 elements on the perodic table. However, I am confused about the noble gases. Firstly, do the noble gases turn into ions? If yes, what would, for example: Helium become.

Thanks!

No--the outermost electron orbital of Nobel Gases are full.

Use the periodic table of the elements and read from right to left, top to bottom. The first row is filling the s orbital (2), the second--the p (8) and so on. The columns are organized by electron configuration, that's why alkaline metals are on the column on the left and Nobel Gasses are the column on the right.
