Hi to all - can't believe it has been so long since I have visited this site. Seem to be so busy lately!!!
Have finished the cryptic bar 1 clue
Can't make up my mind on 13A - should the answer be 'dyes' or 'ayes'
Know you will come to my rescue as usual.

I put in dyes - affirmative response 'YES' after seeing 'initial Dark' hair colorants.
Hope that makes sense!.

I thought it would probably be 'dyes'
It's just bothering me as 'affirmative response' is 'yes' but also 'ayes'
As you have all come up with 'dyes' as the answer, I will go with that.

Sumi summed it up pretty well I think.

With 8d being hayfever and 9d being suspects, the obvious conclusion must be "dyes"

affirmative response is "yes"

initial "d" of haircolorants, which is "dyes"
