Hi Kiwinan, Try anthesis: The period during which a flower is fully open and functional

Hi Kiwinan!

I agree with farkha - Anthesis

For 245d I had CALF, with 245a being COSH

Hope that helps!

Hi Kiwian, sorry for not trying to answer the second part- I always thought a baby rhino was called a baby. If it does not check out wait for confirmation by someone else.
Cheers

Hi farkha
Thank you for your help - no apology necessary for the second part of my query; if I hadn't put in bash instead of cosh, I would have realised it was calf.
Many, many thanks, and for being so prompt too

Regards

Hello lezzles

Many thanks for your prompt help - is appreciated.
I had incorrectly put in bash instead of cosh and have been looking for a spec ific word for 'juvenile rhino'.
The plant's flowering I could not find anywhere.

Would you be able to confirm that 217a is
corrigenda ? First time I have come across this one.

Thanks again

Regards
Kiwinan

Kiwinan,

Corrigenda is correct!

You mentioned you couldn't find a plant's flowering anywhere. Do you Google when you can't find a word? That sometimes helps. Also, there are quite a few good on-line dictionaries that are good to refer to. One I find handy is - wwf.thefreedictionary.com
I've got it on my favourites - it may not be the greatest one around, but I like it because it gives cross-references to other dictionaries, encyclopaedias, thesauri, etc. - at a glance.

But don't let it stop you from yelling out for help - we love to help!
Good luck.

Lovatts Stinker Colossus 102
Lezzles,

Thanks for your help and comments. Yes I do 'Google' but didn't help me with the plant's flowering.
The corrigenda answer I got from the www.onelook.com online dictionary as a result of a comment from Dutchy to another person looking for help - he suggested www.onelook.com, which I tried and it lead me to the dictionary.

Many thanks for your help, it's just great.

Regards

Kiwinan
