How would you identify and isolate the homologous gene?

Hey all

Can anybody shed any light on the following:

"You are given a cloned gene from Drosophila. How would you identify and isolate the homologous gene from Arabidopsis?"

Really haven't got a clue about homologous genes and can't get hold of a copy of Hartwell et al

Any help much appreciated!!
