Yo Dutch...You OK Bud?

Regular as clockwork, Shell and the other gangsters are all installing new pumps across the country, existing pumps only compute to £1..00 per litre. Prices are around that region at present and considering it probably costs £200,000..00 to re-pipe, re-electric and re-pump each site, they must be be intending recovering that outlay back with a vengeance.

'S amazing how cheap diesel is on the Continent, in comparison; Italy was the most expensive and Spain and Slovenia the cheapest.

Terrible the difference in general. Red diesel (the same product with an added dye) is sold to the farmers for off road use and hauliers purchase it for running their freezer units. But woe betide them if Customs find any of that in their tanks.

So why use it in the first place? Confused Or is it just one of those things a young mind fails to grasp?

Well if you purchase red diesel at 30p per litre it is far more economical than purchasing normal diesel at £1..00 per litre, so there are many indeed who fall into the devils clutches, do you appreciate that?

Not if the one who takes part in the bargain comes out with major losses. But if all turns out all right then there is no harm in appreciating it is there?

Unlikely to prevent the use of oil, anyway, these price hikes, until a proper usable substitute comes along.

Very unlikely to let it float onto the market until oil fields are virtually non existent.

Well, there are people in the States saying we'll never run out of oil and that there are oceanic areas that will be the future of the industry.

X-traordinary the prices down here, we have sufficient oil to look after ourselves, yet they import oil to keep the price artificially up to world parity. All our oilwells up north our capped off until another day!!

Curiously, I'm not surprised; neither did I win anything in the Great Lotto.

Extraordinary amount of money, $26,000,000. Our lotto rarely goes higher than E5,000,000. Of course, the smaller population is a factor.
