Promises much better here today, blue sky but only with a maximum of 13 degrees, winter is starting early for us. A far cry from the 40 plus degrees we had some months ago.

Tropics I meant to include in my previous post. You can leave Darwin (top of Australia) in shorts and thongs, and arrive in Adelaide (south of Australia) wearing winter gear!

Viewed from your part of the world it must seem odd, than I again when I see photo's from a wintry Canada, I can't belief how you survive in a climate with so much ice, snow and cold?

Well, we're tough! Smile (And it isn't that cold, icy, or snowy most of the time or even throughout the whole country - here in Vancouver we have a very moderate climate)...

X-traordinary Mame, I've obviously been misinformed about you Canadians, I thought only we Aussies are as tough as nails....

You know, it's been that changeable in Europe, amazingly. And not as logical as you'd think. In February it was 18 degrees in London and 8 in Spain when I arrived, 1600 km south (that is, towards the sun, for you Ozzies).
