Well, I grew up in the west. Most of us out here probably don't even know what a parson is.

it is late in the evening
the moon is high
my clothes are sticky
from the dark red heat
i run thru silver woods
by the sight of the moon
i cast off my garments
let me feel the sweet wind
let it better caress me
better release me
from the heat, the heat
the summers' heat
i come to a lake
that is dark and silent
i come to a lake
that is lit by the moon
i come to a lake
that is cool and calming
i come to a lake
not a moment too soon
ps. can u tell i live in florida?

What a beautiful picture you have here
Patiodog. Methinks you are a poet at heart
now aren't you? Is that your home where
the rainbow ends? I've always wondered about that.
What else come with the end of the rainbow?
a pot of gold
a fool's quote
a maiden's kiss
a sprite in the woods
a snake full of hiss
a heart so overflowing
or a depth that can't be measured

Where has Letty been?
Another question:
Did you write that poem? Lovely. My Gawd. This is the Live Poet's Society thread.

I'm in my home, nowhere near your home unless we both roam to Rome when we'll be in neither home but we can look at the dome as we comb the Papal chrome for a tome to take home but which home ?
