Deb I don't doubt that your knowledge is far greater than mine, but why do male paedophiles go for young boys as well as girls

Homosexual paedophiles will go for boys.

Hetero ones will go for girls.

Bi ones will presumably go for both.

I never said that no paedophiles are homosexual - I said that homosexuals are not more likely to be paedophiles than straight men.

The figures on such matters are not wonderful, for obvious reasons, and it is possible that figures for boys will go up as it becomes more acceptable for boys and men to report their sexual abuse - (which is happening, and many of the males reporting for the first time are reporting abuse from many years ago) - however, at the moment, as far as I know, your straight man is the more common perpetrator.

Gradually, more cases of abuse by women are coming out, too.

I noticed SealPoet. I was trying to use Peter Principal in some kind of pun, but my cat was chasing a moth and I lost my focus.
