dys--

That actually bears a resemblance to me. I am Wednesday Adams.

<apologies to sane people. I am having a Renaissance, long overdue successes, and conspicuous validation recently. I am completely impossible, I'm sure. You're only hope is to patronize me, and hope it blows over.>

I've had to give up posting entirely.

The discovery that Lord Ellpus is a couple of decades younger than I'd thought has paralyzed me.

Not really. Most of the time, she doesn't even wake up.

My discovery that I feel a couple of decades older than I am may balance things a little for you, though.

Better that way. Foreplay can be so tiresome.

Considering the number of my posts, I am no lurker,
but I don't really like to start threads. I much rather dispense
the one thing I'll give of quite often and free of charge: unsolicited advice! Wink

Are you an A2K Non-starter?
I lurk a lot, because it's fun to see what other people are saying, and respond a lot, because there are so many interesting posts. And I post a lot because A2K is apt to be my starting point for information on all sorts of subjects. I range from Electronics to General, from Books to Reference, and I get really worked up about Food.

Very Happy

And I like to see a bunch of messages to start my day - a friendly element of surprise which is always welcome.

You thought so too?!

I had always thought he was just a harmless old poop.

Now, when he mentions things like "urgent entries" I have to ponder his agenda.

I wonder how many maidens he has lured to dorwich manor behaving in such an avuncular manner?

I'm not exactly sure where I stand. I used to be a very active member and made dozens of threads...but then I left for a little more than a year and only recently came back. Nowadays I mostly just skim the New Topics page for anything interesting.
