I would like to share few latest theories on Physics, Space, Time and Dimensions.

According to Einstein, Energy and mass are convertable.
He also proposed Space-time Dimension according to which there exists 4th dimension which is not visible to human consciousness.

He said that any matter whether it is an atom or a huge black hole, wraps the space-time dimension and causes various natural phenomena like Gravitation pull, Magnetism etc.

Thus when any other matter approaches the target matter it gets trapped in its wrapped space-time dimension and revolves around it.

Another theory proposed by Stephen Hawkins relates to the zero point energy.

The theory states that every point in this universe is filled with infinite energy. But we could not feel it because it is balanced in all the sides.
All the space which we see either filled with matter or empty is filled with infinite energy.
And when there is disturbance in the balance of this energy matter gets created.
The shape and mass of the matter depends upon extent of unbalance of energy at that point. The theory also explains the Gravitation phenomena
Conside two bodies still at two places A and B.
The space outer to A and B is infinite, thus the energy outer to A and B is also infinite.
But the space between A and B is finite thus energy is finite.
Due to this difference between energy, the two bodies are attracted.

So in a way zero point energy is contradictary to Einsteins's predictions.

One may also ask why the bodies gets attracted when at all points between the bodies lie the energy at equilibrium.
Well, matter and energy could be considered rivals of each other.
Whenever unbalance in energy occurs matter is created.
And energy tries to produce various natural forces like Gravitational forces etc to bring the matter together and crush it to the maximum extent so that the gross form gets converted into finner form and to such extent that the matter gets converted to energy again.

Till now no one can define what is energy(just -ability to do work)
Energy is formless, and in its infinite form present in all the points of space.

Actually any matter you see is a gross form of energy
If you start breaking matter you may proceed in this manner
Mixture-Compound-Elements-Atoms-Electrons and nucleus-protons and neutrons- quarks - super quarks-(not known)
You may divide the super quarks upto million times or perphaps infinite times and the product you shall get is energy.

Thus energy could be considered as hypothetical infinitesimally small matter.
Many new advances not in science and technology but in human philosophy and thinking could lead to outbreaking discoveries

Welcome to Able2know Cosmic!

A few comments.

Actually Einstein said energy and matter are equalivent - not simply or merely convertable. This has alot of deep implications, first and foremost that matter and energy are totally and deeply connected and are likely to be simply different representations of a more fundamental underlying reality. Picture me walking (or jumping) along a seesaw. On one end I represent pure energy, at the other pure matter. I am neither in my deepest reality but these are two physical ways I can manifest some of myself and my properties.

Einstein therefore shows a concentration of either matter or energy causes curvature of spacetime (a.k.a. gravity). So a high energy concentration warps spacetime as does a matter concentration alah space tells matter and energy how to move, and matter or energy tells space how to warp.

Zero point energy is starting to take you into the study of theoretical physics regarding Super Symmetry (SuSy or string theory), super gravity, M-theory and membranes etc and the wierd world of quantum physics reality. We don't have the tools to explore it even theoretically well defined yet. We can't understand its properties at preset we can only theorise its topology and then just at its edges - not the centre. hawkings is evaluating theoretical models but we are a long way to go to determine any with consistency and linking this to an application to our understanding of reality.

You are correct in stating that we don't understand matter and energy at lower level of reality than quarks, baron or leptons - for that we need next generation colliders and space based instruments to give us the next clues to the reality we live in.
