I have always had a 1gb SD card for my camera. I use my laptop's built in card reader to get pictures off it.
The other day, I upgraded to a 2gb Sandisk SD Card. My digicam uses the card just fine, but when I went to get the pictures off it via my laptops card reader. Nothing happens.
The laptop doesn't even recognize that the card is in the slot. I dunno what the problem is...
Is there a driver update I need or something... or what?

Sorry your having this problem - right now I'm not sure what to suggest, did you take the pictures in RAW? If so then that might be the problem.
I dont know but there's more than pictures in my camera, there's also videos.
The laptop doesn't even know the card is in the reader, nothing pops up, with my last card, i would get a notification
