Dog grooming=which conditioner?

Does conditioner for people work as well as conditioner especially made for dogs? The long fur on my poodles ears gets tangled.

At a pet stall in a London market, I bought a bottle of "woof 'n' go".

It was brilliant, but have never been able to find it again.
