Hi, I'm having some issues with my Cambridge computer speakers. I have a sub and 4 satellite speakers with a controller. The controller controls volume as well as front-rear balance. Before moving my system back from college, everything worked fine. Now only the front 2 speakers play. The others aren't bad, as I plugged them into the front spots to verify that they still work. I tried turing the front down and the rear up, but nothing happened. Could this be a problem with the controller/controller connection? Or is this most likely a problem with the sub in which everything connects? Thank you.
Problem might be with the controler, or the sub (if it houses the amplifier), but first thing I'd check would be the soundcard; make sure it has the latest drivers for your configuration, that its settings are correct for your speaker array, all cables and connectors are intact, and that all connections are secure.
Well, everything was working just fine before break, so I don't think it's the sound card a drivers. When I first got it, I plugged in the controller and got no sound. Then a friend found that I had bent a pin in the controller connector, straightened it, and everything worked well. I looked at the connector, but nothing looks bent; at last not that I can tell. Thanks.
