A metal X is more reactive than magnesium. X can probably be extracted by
A heating its oxide with carbon
B passing electricity through its molten ore.
C passing electricity through an aqueous solution of its compound.
D heating its sulphide in the air.
The solution is B.
My thoght is: Is option C Okay as well? If it is not, is that because the ionic bond holding the ions together is stronger than the attraction force in the water, thus it cannot dissolves in water and form aqueous solution?
I thought we were going to be talking about Judas Priest and such.
