If a cell's membrane were to become thickened, which of the following would be a result? (Only one answer is correct)
A) More molecules would enter the cell
B) Fewer molecules would enter the cell
C) Fewer molecules would leave the cell
D) More molecules would leave the cell
Yes, that is the correct answer.
(Please understand that I will not answer your test questions for you or do your homework.)
That is the whole purpose of this site.
It is? I thought it was to find information...
For your own benefit it'll help you to veil your inquiries in various wraps that make it harder to tell what it is you are doing.
As to cells entering and leaving (diffusion, osmosis and active transport), as you know already, each cell membrane is selectively permeable and the thickening of the membrane would clearly have an effect...now with the information given, what would be the most logical answer?
