How about me, Reyn? I got a camera for Christmas!

I decided on the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6. Six megapixel, 12x optical zoom, IS, very good feel to it. Fits my hand just right. Very easy to operate. Read mixed reviews on image quality...some said it was superior, others had problems. Only one way to find out...I'm going to give it a try.

(Still reading thru the literature.)

littlek must be on the Cape with the family. Not even a cell phone signal there... she'll be off for awhile I reckon...

I was a bit nervous with my camera initially, as I hadn't really touched a real one for some 30 years, nevermind taking something other than family snapshots.

I have a thread going in the Photog forum, but haven't posted too much lately. It's been raining something awful for the past 2 weeks.

Been meaning to do more indoor stuff, but with the retirement thing happening, been too busy here and there.

Once things settle down, will do more, I think.

Oh, hello there! I got the camera for my birthday, Reyn, which was the 23rd. For xmas I got a photo printer. I had the camera with me on the cape for the holidays and I have just uploaded almost 200 pictures. I'll post a few tonight or tomorrow. Anyway, the camera is a refurbished finepix E550 and the photo printer is a kick-ass canon i9900.

We have an old photo from about 30 years ago of my siblings and I on a rock in Brewster. We went back and re-enacted the image (or tried to).....
