Hi Dutchy!
I've come across a hitch in the Maxi.
Page 2, row 7, first word
*ANA*ER
No clue has been provided (that I can find). At a guess I'd say it was MANAGER.
Do you have any thoughts on this one?
Thanks.
Hi lezzles
There are 6 words you can make from the letters you supplied, amongst them manager, which is the one I have forwarded.
This is the first "gremlin" I've come across in the Maxi for years.
Hope this helps.
Regards Dutchy.
Hi Lezzles,Dutchy, got two more just in case manager does not fit
tanager: any of numerous New World woodland birds having brightly colored males.
hanaper: A kind of basket, usually of wickerwork, and adapted for the packing and carrying of articles; a hamper.
Hi farkha and lezzles
Just for information, these are the only six words I can find from the letters supplied:
Manager: someone in charge.
Hanaper: wickerwork basket.
Tanager: woodland bird.
Danaher:)
Hanauer:) Surnames in the USA
Manaker:)
I have submitted "manager" as my answer, I remember there was something about this clue what made me do it, unfortunately I had submitted my entry before lezzles posted her query, hence I'm unable to check or recall my reasons.
Already working on the new "Maxi" for this week.
Regards Dutch.
