Yup, I stopped eating because I was getting full!

We just came home from a nice Chinese smorg. <2 thumbs up>

Still feelin' pretty swell this morning, and remarkably relaxed.

It still hasn't sunk in, I think. Very Happy

Lately here, it's only rain, rain, and more rain (of the wet variety).

Still better than snow though. That's the west coast way of thinking here.

I've had knee joint problems lately. Hoping codroitan glucosamine or whatever the hell it is helps. I started taking it Saturday and it seems better, but only a full day at work will tell.

I'm sorry to hear of that. Is it related to arthritis at all?

I see that "the other thread" has now become locked. Probably just as well.

Enjoy, Reyn, enjoy! Very Happy

Just a bit curious: is the word "swell" generally these days? Or is it just in this thread? Very Happy It seems such a nice, quaint term from another, simpler time. I think I last heard it on Father Knows Best, many moons ago, or from Jimmy Stewart!

It's probably just this thread.

It was started by my buddy, Edgar (and we all know he comes from that older era  Laughing ). Not like me, Mr. New Age Funky kind-of-guy-who wouldn't normally use the word 'swell'. Smile

I think because it is rarely used, it tends to stand out.

I know one meter reader at my ex-workplace who uses it for emphasis sarcastically when there's something he really hates, but that's him.

You're a teacher, right?

It has a very nice, comfy feel to it, don't you think, Reyn? I think I'll comment on lots of things being "swell" over the next few days & see what sort of a reaction I get! Very Happy
