I thought you must have seen the Mickey Mouse Club a time or two and thus recognize a play on the theme.

Doh! <smacks forehead!>

I first had a quick look at it and that's what I thought it was, but when I looked closer, I figured it was something else.

Very devious..... Laughing

Naw, I was just in a mood. I didn't think this was going to become public. Embarrassed

I've been busy in the Photography section and I'm okay now. Laughing

That's good! But the idea of 3 new cats must have had some appeal? Very Happy

Honestly? Not really. We've already got 2 and they can be a handful.

Next week, we're having our oldest daughter's 4 cats here for a week, and we have to keep them separated in different parts of our home to achieve peace.

Naw, we keep ours and hers separated. Separate everything, so, it's okay.

It can be a fair bit of work. We brush the cats teeth, make sure nails are short, litter box duty, etc, etc.....

Well, nothing much has happened on the job front.

Since December, I've seen one job worth applying for. That was just a week ago. It's a job as a "weather observer" at our local airport. Apparently, no experience required. Probably a gadzillion people will apply, but we'll see, I guess.

In the meantime, I have continued with my photography and have set up a website (which can be accessed from here, hint, hint) showing my best efforts to date.

Lots of chess playing has been happening. Laughing

I've also started doing some fix-ups around the home. The main stuff to do is some interior painting. Outside, there's the back fence to slap another coat on, as it's looking a bit rough.

A little worried about Vivienne, as her right knee is acting up. She'll probably need an operation on it. It's looking like she has some bone spurs and a small amount of torn cartilage. I bought her a cane so she's a bit steadier on her feet.

My soon-to-be ex-employer (end of this month) was in the news. They managed to have employee payroll information stolen that was stupidly left on a laptop. Yup, we all had to go out and get new bank accounts, as we're all on direct deposit. The you-know-what is going to hit the fan, as the gov't will be doing a investigation into it. This company (Accenture Business Services) does contract work for our provincial electrical utility and it's a crown corporation, which means it's in the public sector. Serves the SOBs right. Treat people like dirt, it'll come back to haunt you. Mad Mad Mad

So, other than that, official retirement still takes place 1 May. Then, I still have benefits to sort out. First pension cheque should arrive at the end of May.

Thanks for asking....... Very Happy

Nice photography site, by the way.

Hey, that's good to hear! Hope it works out.

Thanks for stopping by. I had forgotten that you were on Blogger as well. Do you have a site there, other than the one that's listed?

Yup.....doh! Looked at that before, but thought I had screwed up somewhere, as I was looking at the CMT name in the title. Is that a pseudonym for you?

Edgar Blythe is a name I made up to use as a writer. Since then, I reverted to my real name, but people on A2K and other sites already knew me as edgar.
