Hi anng - good to meet you!
try CAREFREE.
Good luck!
Hi anng
Welcome to the club.
I agree with lezzles and have that word too. See definition below.
light·heart·ed ( P ) Pronunciation Key (lthärtd)
adj.
Not being burdened by trouble, worry, or care; happy and carefree.
Regards Dutchy.
Thanks Lezzles and you as well Dutchy.
Sometimes you go around and around in circles trying to solve a seemingly easy clue.
I even resorted to oneacross.com but they couldn't help!
Thanks

Hi, anng!
I love reading dictionaries, but I have marked one on line dictionary in my "Favourites" box which I use to double check some of Christine's curly twisters.
It is - wwf.thefreedictionary.com
There may be better references, but I find it gives me lots of alternatives, examples, etc - and is good for just browsing.
You might like to check it out.
Hi lezzles and anng
Thank you for that reference lezzles, I have added it to my puzzle favorites.
One that I mostly refer to is
www.onelook.com, it has a wealth of information to select from and you can divert into many directions, very handy indeed.
Merry Christmas.

Hi Dutchy!
Thanks for that I will definitely check it out!
I think I will also check out People mag - I stopped buying magazines quite some time ago - I found they contained too much junk, but I'm always on the look-out for good puzzles, so I will give it a go.
Hi lezzles
Just a word of caution, the publication is a weekly magazine and is not everybody's cup of tea, but the puzzles are great. There are always 3 entertaining crosswords in them worth $250.00 & $500.00, plus the monthly Lovatts $1000.00. Besides that there are usually 3 x $50.00 general knowledge questions.
Another publication you may be interested in is "Drac's Crossword Mania" puzzle book, it has about 80 pages of crosswords including some prizepuzzles. Issue 4 is now on the Newsagent shelves, it cost $4.95
Thanks heaps for that, Dutchy.
I like the Logic puzzles, but I found that too often a vital clue is left out and a big leap of faith is needed to find the solution.
