Is gamma always 1.4?


like For an Adiabatic process

dQ = O
and
P1V1^y = P2V2^y
T1V1^1-y=T2V2^1-y
y= gamma

For an ideal (perfect) monatomic gas it's pretty close, but most real gasses are (well) real and have real properties.
