Oh you don't know?

Gus is my brother!

That's why he shows up on all my threads suggesting polkas and such.

I thought everyone already knew that.

When done under the right conditions, dancing IS sex.

My wife refused to ride in my car unless I took the Brave Combo CD out....

Some people in Africa have never seen ice
How could they?
How could they?
Cause it's hot there, most of the time, and when it's not
It's warm
The Sahara Desert is very big
Yet in that void I see
An Ice Machine on nothing
There's no electricity
An Ice Machine over-flowing with cubes
A frozen oasis of steel
Hummin' and providin' relief -
For the way people feel

(Chorus:)
Don't forget your bucket, Don't forget your bucket
Don't forget your bucket, bucket. Don't forget your bucket

You know, Gila monsters cross the road from here to El Paso
Every poisonous snake in the land can be found here too, ya know
And scorpions aren't afraid -- they give you very little space
They make you line up in single file so try not to lose your place

Repeat Chorus

(Spoken: C'mon Jeffrey!)

How can I make you see, the things you can't believe?
Your fear is illogical you seem very wise but that doesn't matter to me
For I was back in the sandbox playin' with toys when I spilled my Coke
And like a fur-covered spoon it made me think, isn't life a funny joke
It's like an Ice Machine over-flowing with cubes
A frozen oasis of steel
Hummin' and providin' relief -
For the way people feel

Repeat Chorus

Don't forget your bucket, bucket
Don't forget you bucket
Don't forget you bucket, bucket, bucket
Don't forget your bucket, bucket, bucket
Don't forget your bucket, HEY!
Don't forget your bucket

Taking the Brave Combo OUT?

I thought everyone who heard the Brave Combo loved the Brave Combo.

I thought there was a law or something.

Maybe mind control by clairanet.

I'm so glad to see that other fine people are familiar with their wonderful music.

I still have my autographed EP!

Empirical testing does not support this thesis. I'm the only person I've ever run into that likes Brave Combo. Although I have hopes for Yaya and Chiquita so that T will be outvoted....

Right now, we have a deal. When she's alone she gets to listen to her music. When I'm alone I get to listen to my music. When we're together, she gets to listen to her music.

Ain't compromise wonderful? Laughing

The Brave Combo is kind of a Texas type thing. They actually did have quite a following. I understand they played at David Byrne's wedding. I don't think they were ever really well known.

You've heard of everyone else and then some.

You can dance with me anytime, Swimpy. Even if you have a wheelchair or a walker or a cane or whether you just want to sit and nod your head!
