I just got a new computer. My old computer has both Microsoft I.E. and Netscape. My new computer came with Microsoft pre-installed, but I might add Netscape. I have some I.E. "Favorites" and some Netscape Bookmarks which I would like to bring over to the new machine. I have a "Computer How-To" book - but it says nothing about this problem. Does anyone have a possible solution?

in IE go to "File" and click "import and export" follow the wizard and select "export favourites" this will save them to a file, copy this file over to the new machine, and click file/import export then this time select "import favourites" and hey presto!

netscape will offer a similar option under either file or under bookmarks/manage bookmarks
