Hi Julksy,

The contests for 'Holiday No.54' closed on 17th of November and you were probably thinking the new '55' would follow straight after it , as happens with some of the other Lovatts titles, I've done that before too! Very Happy

Because they only put out 4 Holiday collection books each year, there is a bit of a gap between one issue closing and the next going on sale.

Looking forward to talking to you again soon.
Regards, Butterfly Very Happy

My cousin told me she has been having quite a bit of trouble with newsagents in her area in Sydney. Stocks (I think it was the current Colossus) were evidently stolen from the delivery truck, found at Mascot and then stolen again before they could be recovered.

Has anyone else heard about this, or is it an urban Lovatts' myth

Lovatt's becoming an urban myth?
I bet Christine would find that amusing

Slight difference between Lovatts' becoming an urban myth and an urban myth about Lovatts', but yes, I think she would find it amusing.

Why would anyone want to steal a truck-load?
What would it cost in stamps to send all those
multiple entries in?

Unless...Dutchy and Butterfly have got all A2Kers
so enthused that an international drugs cartel have moved in to grab a piece of the action. Laughing

Keep up the fantastic work D & B. Though I can usually find the answers in reference books, google, etc, I still check your posts to see if you agree.
