Doing fine thanks spidergal. Sorry about Diwali, I'm totally ignorant about your great festival, hope you had a good time, or is it a religious celebration?

Doesn't know that Diwali is the biggest religious festival of the Hindus.

(I had a wonderful time. That is why few people turned up at Jaipur. Sad our town won't host any match this time.)

Was embarrased by my blunt remark. Embarrassed

Sorry, Dutchy, didn't mean to be so blunt. I understand your ignorance. Look up Vinsan's thread on Diwali in the General forum. You will find all the info on it.

Thanks spidergal, you're ok. Have had a quick look via Google and now understand Diwali's significance to you. I will also have a look at the thread you mentioned, interesting to learn something about other cultures.

(Not mainland India much to my regret, but I did spend 2 days in Sri Lanka during a stopover on my way to Europe some years ago. Didn't see much because we were confined to a Hotel because of some unrest on the island)
