Very Happy Reyn: Excellent pictures! You could certainly have a second career as a photographer after you retire. Have you ever thought of entering them into local contests, art fairs, etc? The goose in the truck is a cute photo.

I love, love, love the "Beware of Christmas" photo. Having had a vomiting Jesus thread though I know that the sentiment is not.... ummmm.... appreciated.

haha, Well, thanks for the compliment, but I doubt I would consider photography as a post-retirement career. Perhaps entering a contest down the road might be considered. Lots of talented folks around though.

I've just started photograhy as a hobby again, after decades of not taking any photos. I rather enjoyed it, but still feel a little self-conscious out on the street.

It quite took me aback when I came upon it. I took it just to see what it would look like.

So far, I'm extremely pleased with the quality of the photos that my camera takes. I can highly recommend it for someone who is looking for a good non-SLR camera (Canon S2 IS).

Shocked Shocked Shocked

Who could not love a cute little pussy cat? Laughing At least from afar.

I noticed that you've got something going about photographing paintings. Any advice on doing the same in a frame with glass?

Never done it Reyn.

Since Pandora bit Stephanie, I don't like cats anymore.

Pan, it's Abbotsford, South Fraser Way, just west of Clearbrook Road.

Actually, I took this pic mainly because I liked the clouds.

Well, it's one of those cold and dreary winter days here today, where it's trying to snow. A perfect day for an indoor project.

Here, I'm playing around experimenting with macro-photography and lighting.

Very Happy Reyn:Great photos ! Is the original piece a doll, figurene,or what ?
The girl looks absolutely life-like. With your talent and your wife's talent, you two could have quite a joint venture if you wanted to.
Have you ever done any time-lapse photography,or any work combining photographs and computerized special effects ?

Thanks, Linda! The original piece is about a 4 inch figurine made of china.

No, I haven't tried anything time-lapse yet, but I have combined photos before, as in montaging. I do occasionally do some touching up when necessary, but not overly.

As far as photography goes, I've only just recently taken it up again as a hobby after being dormant since the '60s.

Both my wife and I like to play around with our photo-editing software though.

Some more pics around the lake in the park nearby. Not too happy with these. Dull day, and it
looks like dusk.
