Easy, I'll 'splain (er, see Ricky Ricardo for that). I have an eight inch square hot pad out of dark green and it is made of rubber; it has a bubble grid. Can't remember where I got it, or what possessed me if I actually traded cash for it.

However, now that it is in my possession, I really like it as a hot pad.

Be that as it may, the bubble bits and color so remind me of darling Region..

This is a link for similar if different, my hot pads being square and with bubbles, rather like Pirelli floors..

I would like a buck for every time I realized that when I wrote "was" in a sentence, it should have been "were". In the past, I was able to correct the mistake.

Now I have to stand naked, my Brooklyn upbringing glaringly out there for all to see! Embarrassed

I make more mistakes than most anybody. I am no longer embarrassed by it, because it happens almost daily.

Edgar - making mistakes and acknowledging it is something I really appreciate.

I just cannot stand people who "knows" and keep giving us lessons while making mistakes...

If you woulda said that, I would have started dreaming off about the hotpadding you must have done back then already.

Yeh. It's all good.

However, I have to say the actual hot pad in forest green rubber is a little infelicitious for pleasant excursions. You can just tell by looking at it, feeling its bubbles.
