anyone else tearing their hair out waiting for Yahoo today?
that's probably because i was cleaning out all the junk mail out of my yahoo today. whatever happened to the spam filter? it was pretty good and then bam! about a week ago it went from 1-2 a day to 50 a day! what have i done to deserve this?
I'm generally disgruntled with Yahoo lately. Their search function has been sucky for a while now, and I also just had a spike in spam to my inbox. Grr.
i just timed it:
it took 22 seconds to delete something from my inbox...
there's hoping they're upgrading the system or whatnot.
Yeah, today I have had problems deleting. I haven't used yahoo toolbar for a few weeks because it was giving me problems. I re-installed it today and it still gives me problems. I think it must be loaded with spyware.
It seems to be getting slower and slower......
I only use it as a bulk spam filter and then read and delete stuff in my inbox from outlook express as I can hardly stand to read and delete via yahoo - sooo clumsy to me.
still agonizingly sllllllowwwwwww today.
feel a tad guilty complaining to them, seeing as how i have a free account...
... so i'll be doing all my complaining here
I just checked it and it seems to be zipping right along. Must just be you guys.
I think it is worse than yesterday.
In regard to the free account, don't worry about it...they probably read your mail and know all about you :wink:

Are you getting fast access to your yahoo email account?
Everything is SLOW lately. I can't stand this. You pay a zillion dollars to have high speed internet and half the freakin' pages you want to go to take forever to load.

I know what you mean...imagine what it's like for dial-up people...I feel sorry for them, as they must have to wait an eternity
Well, I got a new Yahoo account, and the thing keeps treating A2K as a popup. It also treats spell check as a pop up. A couple of times today, my pc has frozen and I have had to restart. Someone warned me that DSL was a crock, frankly, so I just keep pluggin away with dial up. I must say that it has made be more patient.
DSL is fine. We'd have it now except that you need to have a hub near you to get it and we don't have one close enough where we are now.
We had it for a while before we moved and it was as good as cable, only cheaper.
