I have to agree with carditel submissions.

Re 195 across:
I cannot find a word for the letters s-n-r-g anywhere.

Re 34 down:
I have found 30 words/acronyms etc for r-i, however none of them refer to wild grass.

Thank you all of you for your help. Last night I sat with a bottle of white out and then put in Carditels answers and worked out where I had gone wrong.
So thanks to Dutchy for Lairage, and Carditel and Scuby911 for Rye and synerge I have now finished the crossword. Well I have now I have alter my son's offering for 47a from Lugar to Lewis. Next time I will listen to people who know more than me and use the white out and try again not assume my first answer is the right one. Regards Myrtle
