Help with JVC camcorder.

Hi Guys, I hope one of you can help me.

Ok, I have a JVC Mini DV camcorder GR-D33U. What I want to know is if there's a way I can attach a microphone to my camera. There are no visible plugs that would indicate that I could do this. But I was curious if there was some sort of attachment I could buy that would allow me to do this.

Any help or information would be great. I wish I could provide more info about my camera...but I lost my box and instruction booklet in the flood (Hurricane Katrina, you know the story).
