French, Spanish, Italian, German are the big hitters among European languages. French is possibly the most beautiful, concise and expressive. Italian is the most fun to speak in my opinion.

Mr Stillwater, UR a d1ck.

Norway, Sweden, Denmark all have similar languages that they can communicate with each other.

Finland is a different case, they say its more Hungarian or Russian?

Netherlands and Belgium [north] speak Dutch.

France, Belgium [south], some % in Luxembourg's French border, some % in Switzerland's French border speak French.

Germany, Austria, Switzerland, % in Luxembourg 's Germany border speak Deutsch.

Italy, a small % in Switzerland's Italy border speaks Italian.

Spain speaks Spanish.

Portugal speaks Portuguese.

Greece speaks Greek.

All other Eastern European countries have their own language.

In summary, pick Deutsch if you want a business career in Europe, pick French if you want to show off.

it's Hungarian. Russian is similar to Serbian.

In my opinion, Germany should be your choice.

Finnish and Hungarian are both Finno-Ougrian languages, but in fact, Finnish is closer to Estonian (another Finno-Ougrian language) than to Hungarian. Finns and Estonians can understand them each other, but not Hungarians and Finns.

Kingofmen, I'd advise you to learn German, which is a very common language in Europe (There are 82 million germans in Europe), and will be very useful to you if you take care about trade, politics, diplomacy and culture. Germany is one of the richest and most powerful countries in the E.U. Moreover, it's a very beautiful language, rather close to English

I'd recommend Spanish or French.
(or both)!
Then, you could travel in Africa (a lot of French)
South America (a lot of Spanish)
And Europe - where speaking English, Spanish and French - you could go anywhere and be understood.

Good Luck
