Its seems a virtually stress free lifestyle etc helps.
Okinawans take life easy, low calorie diet, live an average of 82 years.
In Sardinia, keeping active, division of labour between women and men which may reduce the risk of cardiovasular disease, a drop of red wine, being looked after by extended family(Nursing homes etc are unheard of in the BLUE ZONE in the Gennargentu mountains, a diet with omega 3 fatty acids.
My grandma has been a 2-3 pack a day smoker since she was 14. She always enjoyed her fatty food. She exercised only rarely. And she always enjoyed her alcohol. She will be 101 in January. By the way, why is this in "Science and Mathematics"?
