Musical clearing for radiactive matter

I had a flash the other night while dreaming that blasting spent radioactive material with the worlds greatest symphonies would after 18 months render the half life to decades as opposed to whatever it currently is. Now someone should test this because if sound has the same effect on ice crystals then this too could effect the proponents of radioactivity in a string theory type universe.
