The day before yesterday Susie was nine years old, Next year she will be twelve years old. How is this possible?

Today is January 1. Yesterday was December 31, and Susie's birthday, and she turned 10 years old. So the day before that she was just 9. Later this year she will turn 11. Next year she will turn 12.
