Hi l woolnough, it's nice to meet you
Goliathon clue 211A. 'appears' can have the answers 'looks' or 'looms' - they are both synonyms of 'appears'. The lovatts judges will accept alternative answers as long as they are correct and have the same meaning as the clue.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Goliathon clue 140 Down - Thick Rope.
Does anyone know of a really obscure meaning for Rape, Repe, Ripe, Rupe or Rype that fits the clue?

Hi Lezzles,
For goliathon clue 140D. 'thick rope', the answer is 'rope'.
there is a 'gremlin' (error), in the clue. Dutchy rang 'Lovatts' about it and they confirmed the error.
Hope this helps you. Good luck!
