Hi Farkha,
re- Lovatts Giant Cryptic 41

Could you tell me which Lovatts book your clue '57A. outstanding victory! Go back round (5)', is in?
I can't find that clue in any of the current books I have at the moment.
Is this cryptic crossword a competition one?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Thankyou, Butterfly

butterfly,
I subscribe to The Works and at the moment I have three issues- Big 156 closes 3/11, Colossus 167 closes 17/11 and Puzzle Collection 41 closes 8/12. 'Outstanding victory' is in giant Cryptic 41(competition). I deal with the UK issues; maybe your issues are numbered differently. Meanwhile good solving and dont hesitate to post your problems. There are a lot of clued-up people here who are ready to help.

Hi Farkha,

thankyou for your reply to my query. The UK and Australian Lovatts books must have different issue numbers, that's why i was so confused! Our competitions don't match at the same time either- feels strange, ( I thought I had missed a book because I couldn't find that particular clue in the issues that I had). Laughing
Thankyou for putting my mind at ease.
Regards, Butterfly Very Happy
