its a long wishlist, but im desperate, so here goes...
can anyone tell me the colours of the following in solution:
zinc sulphate; iron sulphate; copper sulphate; magnesium sulphate and lead nitrate.
and also, what happens in the reactions (colour changes, formations, precipitates, energy or heat release etc.):
zinc sulphate and magnesium
iron sulphate and zinc and magnesium
copper sulphate and zinc and iron and lead and magnesium
lead nitrate and zinc and iron and magnesium.

or could you refer me to a helpful website. thanks in advance.

I Googled 'metal sulfide qualitative' and eventually got to this.

Once, I read a little, I realized a great deal of your questions could be answered in a little nomograph on inorganic qual.

Hope this helps.
