what are fruit punch/ sports drink /soda have to do with conductivity? Should I find out about their chemical equations first? thnx

Sports drinks are made to contain sodium, potassium, etc. that your body needs when you are active, because your sweat contains lots of different kinds of salts that need to be replaced. When you have sodium, etc. in solution like that, more than likely it will be in the form of ions. And when you have ions (electrically charged particles) in solution, it's going to conduct electricty. I'm not sure why you would need to know their formulae though.
