je sais
Que je ne suis pas raisonnable
(croyance incroyable)
Ca me dérange peut-être mais
Je suis quand méme un fou bien sage
au moins
Je me battrais pour ce visage.
Quand je regarde ce visage
je pense
Que je ne pourrais jamais être
de moi-même le maitre
(incroyable cette croyance)
car asservi par cette image
enfin
je tuerais pour ce visage.
Quand je regarde ce visage
je crains
qu'il ne soit un agent du Diable
(croyance 'peu pres croyable)
Vous vous me rendrez dans ses mains
ou ebloui par l'esclavage

je mourrais donc pour ce visage.

je crois
qu'il fait des mots de Dieu une fable
(incroyance bien croyable)
Prince infernal écoutez moi
Ecoutez aussi l'entourage
mon âme
je la vendrais pour ce visage.

When I look at this face/I think/that I could never be/master of myself/ (unbelievable this belief)/because enslaved by this picture/in the end/I would kill for this face.
When I look at this face/I fear/that it's an agent of the devil/ (belief almost believable)/you give me up into his hands/where blinded by the slavery/happily/I would then die for this face.
When I look at this face/I believe/it makes the words of God a fiction/ (pretty believable unbelief)/Prince of Darkness listen to me/you followers listen too/my soul/I would sell it for this face.
