Jewelry in Europe

I bought an 18 karat, yellow & white gold bracelet. It's beautiful, unusual, and I love it. I want to know more about the bracelet, and the maker. The person that sold it to me gave me the name Tourmey. When I looked it up on the net, I only come up with the name Torme.

Does anybody have any information on Tourmey or Torme? Is the word spelled wrong? The person that sold it to me was not sure himself.

Thanks

Sorry, I have no information about the giveb names.

Does your bracelet have a hallmark or punch mark?
A hallmark consists of three punch marks:
One is a set of letters which identify the company or person who made the piece.
Two tells you the standard and material the piece is made of.
Three is an official punch mark that guarantees, that this piece of jewellery has been inspected by office.
This is from Austria, but I think it is done in Germany too.

Hello Angelique ... this was the first topic I found where you asked a question but didn't receive much of an answer.

Did you find a hallmark on your bracelet? Often these are on or near the clasp.

This is not one of the threads Piffka.

Nothing on my bracelet yet. But, I found out plenty about my engagement ring.

Thanks for asking,

You are welcome. I hope you find out more about your bracelet. I am very fond of yellow and white gold in the same piece.
